The Hays Athletic Booster Club (HABC) is here to support ALL athletes and All athletic programs!

Each year, the HABC provides financial support to the athletic activity funds for all sports. For the 2018-2019 school year, we have budgeted $10,000 for this purpose. Additionally the HABC provides financial support and assistance with the Fall, Winter, and Spring RED & BLUE RALLIES that celebrate athletes in each season’s sports. And finally, the HABC provides college scholarships for senior athletes. This year we will be providing $10,000 in scholarships!

Recent financial contributions have included:
$2500 towards the replacement of the boy’s lockers for Basketball
$8000 towards the refurbishing of the weight room in Bales Gym
$2500 purchase of the HHS 10 x 20 foot canopy for Cross Country and Track & Field
$5000 towards travel and meal expenses for varsity athletes in multiple sports
$4000 in scholarships to graduating seniors last year
Sponsorship/Hosting of the 2017-2018 Winter and Spring Red & Blue Rallies (meals for all athletes)

How do we raise funds?

Membership drive; food concessions at sport events (excluding football which is hosted by Lion’s Club); Community / Corporate sponsorships; BBQ booth at Wiener Dog Races.

Are we only about fundraising?

Absolutely, not. Most activities have a financial component, but we provide a SERVICE! We need our athletes' families to support the programs by volunteering their time to staff concession stands, decorate for events, seek sponsors, be a coordinator for their student’s sport, and come to the monthly HABC meetings.
